I've been spending all spring trying to get funding for my thesis on wetland horse fly community change and forestry....sigh... Try getting NS cons interested in -that-.
Thank God my supervisor is an NSERC-funded genius.
Although, I have to admit a name like "John Tory" sounds completely made up. Does he check into hotels with Jane Tory perhaps and thinks "Smith" is too liberal-sounding?

Yeah, I think half the party probably voted for him just because they thought his name was a good fit.
Good luck with the horseflies, though... at least my thesis didn't bite. ;)
