reva - 2005-08-26 [8:56 AM] I'd like to say my wedding day was magical and everything and everyone came together, but it didn't. The groom didn't get anything he wanted (i.e., eloping and throwing a big barbeque) and my family kept cutting corners on the huge party they wanted to throw, to try and make him happy(it didn't work). Everyone wanted something different and I was in the crosshairs, terrified that people weren't going to be happy and that I was making a huge mistake. But he turned out to be the best husband a girl could ask for - despite his crummy groom-ness and everyone ended up having fun anyway. I have no advice, by the way - except get a good photographer (verrrry important) and keep your favorite girls as close as possible. they are soo life savers:) And in the end, you are going to be married and happy so, it's all good!
