Articles. Articles. Articles. Oh, and some books. Actually, I did read Shana Abe's "The Smoke Thief" a couple of weeks ago. It's very light. A little steamy, and all in all well-written for a fantasy romance.

Oh, Nyquil. You do make my dreams wierd. At one point I was trying to climb into a fire grate (with a fire still burning inside) that was the escape to a different world, without a horde of goblins noticing. It turned out that the different world was actually my old backyard.

And suddenly it's dark when I come into the office this morning. The office itself is lit up like a torch, but it's completely dark -- middle of the night dark -- outside. Which is kind of a wierd feeling, since I already feel like I'm in a fishbowl. Now I'm glowing.

I don't think it's a good idea for me to spend money on getting my nails painted. I've been out of the salon for less than an hour and already three of my nails are futzed. One of them badly.

I'm not cut out for that sort of life, I don't think. I don't have a chauffeur who can drive me around or a maid who can zip up my pants for me. These are things that require unimpeded use of fingernails. Apparently. I had no idea until I tried to do them without fingernails.

In other news, waxing the armpits? Yes, painful.
